Today on our 2017 Toyota Corolla, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack, part number RRRBC050. We already have our bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of our features. How the bike is attached to the rack is pretty unique. Instead of having to remove the front tire and to have it gripped by the fork mounts, you could leave everything intact. We have two wheel straps to hold it down. Then, of course, we have the wheel hook here at the front. more

Today on our 2017 Toyota Corolla we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack MountainTrail rooftop bike rack, part number RBC035. We already have our bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack, we're going to have two points of contact with no frame contact at all. Instead, we're going to have a rear wheel strap here, and then we're going to have this skewer mount here which will grip our bike by its front fork mounts. The skewer is lockable, so once you attach this bike to the bike rack and lock it in place, it's secured to the bike rack as well. With everything installed as it is, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between the trunk and the bike rack itself, as you can see here. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Corolla, we have our Inno Fork Lock 3 bike carrier, part number IMA391. We have two things holding this in place, we have our front fork mount and our back strap. To take this off, on our back strap we've got two release levers, one on each side, so I'll squeeze both of them and I'll lift the strap up. It only comes up off, out off the one side. We'll move up froward, I'll unlock our top cap, I'll release our skewer while holding onto the bike. That releases the clamp and allows us to take our front fork out of the carrier. I'll put my clamp back in place. more

We've got that strapped in with a nice ratcheting strap here. That's going to keep that rack or that bike connected to the rack and you won't have any problems with that coming out. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Corolla, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Multi-Fork Lock Roof Bike Carrier. Part number for that is INA 392. We already have our bike loaded up onto our rack, we're going to show you some features of the rack itself, and also how we connect our bike to the rack. The first thing I'll take a look at is the back wheel here, we've got a wheel cradle holding that in, with a strap as well. The wheel cradle has a small, little channel down here that'll fit the smaller bike tires like we have here, but it also fits larger tires that you may have. To release that, we just push on the black button here, and lift up on the strap. Whenever we're loading that up, we want it between the spokes as well. Up at the front, we've got a skewer holding that in, we also have a locking cover here, that's for extra protection for your bike and you rack. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Corolla we're doing a test fit of the Inno tire hold roof mounted bike rack, part number INA389. Now, I already have our bike loaded up. We're going to show you how we strap that down first, and then also how we strap our bike rack to our cross bars. The first thing we'll take a look at are our wheel hooks here. Our front one is just a regular hook. It's just going to go around and come down, and hold that tire in your cradle in the front. In the back here, we've got a simpler cradle that'll move up and down the rack to accommodate different types of bikes that you may have. more

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Corolla

Today on our 2014 Toyota Corolla, we are going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack. This is a frame mounted bike rack, part number TH599XTR. We already have the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System installed in our vehicle, we can begin the test fit by placing the big mouth directly onto our load bars. We want to secure it here at the front first, it got this little slots in the clamp, we can just bring around the front bar. Once we have those around, we are just going to fit the T bolt directly through the appropriate slots and then we can use the thumb knobs here at the top to tighten those down. First we are going to get those tight that way it can secure the front part of the rack. Once we have each side settled down, we can go ahead and tighten it up the rest of the way. more

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Toyota Corolla

Today, on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by first placing our bike rack onto our load bars. Now, starting at the front, we'll position the L brackets, which will go around the front and bottom side of the front bar. Then moving to the back, we'll loosen up one of the wing nuts and remove it and then position the black plate around the underside of the rear bar. We'll then re-install our black wing nut and then tighten it down. With the bike rack secured, we're ready to load up a bike. We'll need to undo the ratcheting straps on the front and back part of the carrier and then pull down on the black lever, which controls the frame clamp. more

Today, on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Upright Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64720. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's load bars. Starting at the front, we'll take the silver U bolts to go around the underside of the front bar, up through the pre-drilled holes of the head of the carrier. We'll then thread in our black wing nuts and tighten them down. Now, moving to the rear, this time we'll take the silver U bolt to go down through the pre-drilled holes of the bike rack and then use the black plate to go on the bottom side of the rear bar. We'll then take our wing nuts and thread that onto the silver U bolts and tighten them down. With the bike rack secured, we're ready to load up a bike. We'll undo the red straps at the front and rear of the carrier, and then we'll loosen up the frame hook. more

Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Toyota Corolla

Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be testing the Swagman Fork Down roof mounted bike rack, part number s64710. With the truly rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by first placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's load bars. Starting at the front, we'll take the silver u-bolts to go around the underside of the front bar, up to the pre-drilled holes of the head of the bike rack. We'll then take the black wing nuts which we'll thread down onto the silver u-bolts, keeping them loose at this time. We'll then move to the rear and this time, slide the silver u-bolt through the predrilled holes of the bike rack and bring the black plate around the underside. We'll slide it over the u-bolt and then use our black wing nuts to tighten it down. With all of our hardware in place, we now can tighten them down all the way. With our bike rack secured, we're ready to load up a bike. We'll loosen up the skewer to make sure our forks can slide down onto it and well undo the trace trap. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test fitting the Kuat Trio Roof Mounted Bike Rack. Part number RU01. With the Thule Rapid Reverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll go ahead and start at the back and position the rubber coated black plate around the under side of the rear bar. We'll remove the black wing knot and slide the bolt through the hole of the bracket reinstalling our wing knot loosely. We'll then move to the front and take the rubber coated U bolts to go up around the bottom side of the front bar, up through the frigged holes of the head of the bike rack. We'll then take the black knots to thread down on onto the U bolts and use the silver wrench to tighten it down. With the front part of the bike rack secured, we'll then go ahead and go to the rear and finish tightening down the black wing knots. With the bike rack secured, we're ready to load up our bike. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1014. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's cross bars. We'll then remove the front black plastic cap and loosen up the allen bolts at the rear of the carrier. In no specific order, we'll bring the rubber coated steel around the underside of the front cross bar, and the back black bracket around the underside of the rear cross bar. We'll then tighten down the front allen bolt to secure the front of the carrier to the front cross bar, and tighten down the rear allen bolts to secure the rear bracket to the rear cross bar. We'll then replace our front black plastic cap, and we're ready to load our bike. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod Stretch roof-mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1011. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's cross bars. We'll then remove the front black plastic cap and in no specific order bring the rubber coated steel straps around the front cross bar, and the rear black bracket around the rear cross bar by loosening up the allen bolts. We'll then tighten up the allen bolt on the rear bracket to secure the rear of the carrier to the rear cross bar. We'll then tighten down the allen bolt in the front of the carrier to tighten down the straps around the front cross bar, securing the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then replace the front black plastic cap, and we're ready to load our bike. more

Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Corolla

Today on our 2012 Toyota Corolla were going to be test fitting the Swagman Forkdown Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number S64710. To mount the carrier to the vehicle well take it and lay it up on top of our load bars. At the front well take two U bolts, feed them from the bottom, around our crossbar and through the head of the bike rack and then tighten them down with the included wing nuts. At the rear of the carrier well fit the U bolt down through the top of our carrier. From below well fit the clamp on the bottom side of our lug bar and use the wing nuts to tighten it down. With that done our racks secured to our vehicle and were ready to mount a bicycle. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Corolla were going to be test fitting the RockyMounts Tierod Roof Mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1014. To mount the carrier to our vehicle were going to set it up on top of our load bars. Then well take the rubber coated straps and feed them around the front load bar and resecure them to the head of the carrier. Well take an Allen wrench to tighten down these straps and then we can reinstall our cover on the front. At the rear well fit the clamper on our rear bar and tighten it down using the wing nuts. With that done were ready to start loading up a bike. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Toyota Corolla

Today on our 2011 Toyota Corolla well be test fitting the Thule Domestique fork mount bike carrier part #: th513. With our vehicle equipped with the roof rack system were ready to go ahead and fit our bike rack. Well begin by setting the head of the bike rack over the front crossbar, we can then bring our rear mount directly over our rear crossbar. Well then loosely fit the clamp to our rear crossbar where we can move back to the head of our bike rack and place the clamp underneath the front crossbar and secure it using the alan bolt included in our Domestique. And now that our Domestique is secured to the vehicle we can go ahead and insert our front fork skewer and prepare it for our front fork of our bicycle. Well also undo the rear wheel strap where we can then set the bike into the carrier, putting the fork into the skewer and clamping it down, well then move back to the rear wheel where well put the rear wheel strapped in and secure it back to the bike rack. more

Today on our 2011 Toyota Corolla well be test fitting the Rocky Mounts TieRod roof mounted bike rack part #: rky1014. Now, our vehicle is already equipped with a roof rack system so were ready to go ahead and mount it to the vehicle. To begin, well set the head of the bike rack directly over the front crossbar, we can then bring the rubber coated steel straps around and resecure them to the head of the bike rack. With the head loosely fit well move to the rear mount bringing the clap underneath the rear crossbar and securing it with the two wing nuts. We can then move back to the front crossbar where well secure the head of our bike rack with the alan wrench included in the RockyMounts TieRod package. And with the head secured we can go ahead and install our head cover and that will secure our bike rack to our vehicle. more
